A low-cost 100mm pressure gauge that is glycerine filled. Each unit is supplied with a UKAS traceable calibration certificate.
The brass process connection has a 22mm square block , with 3/8″ BSPP or 1/2 BSPP male back entry connection as standard.
Typical use would be on fluid liquids that have a temperature below 60C and gases (excluding oxygen or acetylene).
Glycerine filled gauges are particularly suitable for applications where oscillating pressure, surging pressure or vibration is present.
A damping effect due to the filling makes the pointer steady and easier to take an accurate reading.
