The bi-metal 160mm Dial Thermometer uses a long stem to transfer the heat to a coil just behind the dial. This expands or contracts according to the temperature the devices are exposed to. The dial of the bi-metal thermometer then displays the temperature.
This range of Bi-metal thermometers can be used in a wide range of industries and applications. They are designed for use according to BS EN13190.
The 6mm diameter stem is manufactured from 316 stainless steel. It is available in either 50mm or 100mm lengths.
This Unit is a UK specification thermometer that is also widely used in HVAC, mechanical services and air conditioning applications.
Each thermometer is supplied with a 1/2 BSPP, 9mm OD, one piece machined brass pocket – 304SS and 316SS also available.
