Bi-metal thermometers use a long stem to transfer the heat to a coil just behind the dial. This expands or contracts according to the temperature the devices are exposed to. The dial of the bi-metal thermometer then displays the temperature.

This range of class 2 accuracy Bi-metal thermometers can be used in a wide range of industries and applications. They are designed for use according to BS EN13190.

The 6mm diameter stem is manufactured from 316 stainless steel. It is available in either 50mm or 100mm lengths.
