Mineral insulated RTD probe for higher temperature applications where close accuracy is required.
Pt100 class A resistance thermometers manufactured from mineral insulated cable are suitable for use up to temperatures of 600°C. The probe can be supplied in various lengths with the sensing element enclosed in the tip of the 6mm diameter stainless steel sheath.
Although shown straight, mineral insulated resistance thermometers can be bent around formers (with a radius of three times the probe diameter) and at angles and shapes to suit the application. They can also be manufactured in very long lengths.
The sensor is terminated with a pot seal and a PFA insulated lead wire.
Custom manufacturing options are available, including a variety of sheath lengths, diameters, and alternative lead wire types to suit specific application requirements.
