Designed for demanding industrial environments, this Type J thermocouple provides accurate and dependable temperature measurement from -50°C to +400°C. Manufactured with a durable 316 stainless steel sheath, it is suitable for continuous use in machinery, vessels, tanks, pipework and general process applications where long-term reliability is essential.
The sensor is fitted with a robust IP68-rated KNE aluminium connection head, providing excellent protection against dust, moisture and harsh industrial environments. The head contains either a ceramic terminal block or an optional head-mounted 4–20mA temperature transmitter for direct connection to PLC, SCADA and process control systems.
Available with plain stem or fixed process connections including 1/2" BSP, 1/4" BSP, 1/2" BSPT and 1/2" NPT, the sensor can be installed directly into tanks, thermowells, pipework or process vessels.
