The stainless steel construction provides mechanical protection for the Pt100 sensing element and makes the probe suitable for a wide variety of general industrial temperature measurement applications up 250C.
A crimp-sealed transition connects the rigid stainless steel probe to the flexible PFA insulated lead. PFA insulation provides excellent temperature resistance while allowing straightforward connection to associated instrumentation.
The probe can be connected to compatible temperature indicators, controllers, transmitters, PLC inputs and data acquisition equipment.
A selection of sheath lengths, lead lengths and wiring configurations allows the sensor to be configured to suit different installations.
Bespoke Pt100 temperature sensors can also be manufactured where alternative probe diameters, lengths, cable types or construction are required.
