The Thermapen Surface Thermometer combines the proven Thermapen design with a specialist Type K ribbon surface probe for accurate surface temperature measurement.
With a measuring range of -49.9 to +299.9°C and a resolution of 0.1°C, it is suitable for a wide range of industrial, engineering, maintenance and HVAC applications.
The thin ribbon probe provides good contact with flat surfaces, making the thermometer particularly useful for checking the temperature of pipes, machinery, heating systems, hot plates and manufacturing equipment.
For convenient storage and protection, the surface probe folds through 180° into the body of the instrument when not in use. The compact ABS housing is designed for professional use and incorporates a large digital display for quick and easy temperature readings.
The thermometer also features automatic power-off after 10 minutes, low-battery indication and a long battery life of approximately 1,500 hours.
A traceable calibration certificate is supplied with the thermometer, making it suitable for professional temperature measurement and quality-control applications.
